16-year-old charged with homicide in double shooting at 9th and Shearor Street, victim ID'd | ClarksvilleNow.com – Clarksville Now

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A 16-year-old has been charged with homicide following Friday night’s double shooting at 9th and Shearor Street that left one dead and one injured in Clarksville.

The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Emmanuel Tyson from Clarksville, according to a news release from Clarksville Police Lt. Charles Gill. He added that CPD is not authorized to release the names of juveniles charged with crimes.
More arrests in the homicide of Tyson are expected, Gill said.
On Friday, Aug. 20, police responded to a shooting in progress call at 11:02 p.m. in the area of 9th and Shearor Street.

When officers arrived, two male victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to Tennova Healthcare, where one of the victims was pronounced deceased.
